However, I’ve done this as an acoustic guitar-friendly version for those who prefer to cut down on their barred chords. If you are not an advanced player, you can stick to the chords excluding those in brackets (and in fact if you don’t like a barred Bm, you can play just Em in its place throughout quite comfortably – it sounds close enough in this context). Better players can bring in the bracketed chords.
